Everson Griffen is a rising American football player. He is currently playing in the National Football League for the Minnesota Vikings since 2021. Griffen made his NFL debut in 2010 along with Minnesota Vikings. Everson has been named four times in the Pro Bowl Team since 2010.
Everson Griffen was born Everson"Sack Daddy" Griffen on December 22, 1987, in Avondale, Arizona. He is the son of Sabrina Scott and her former husband. Griffen has not shared much about his parents with the media. Everson graduated from Agua Fria High School and enrolled at the University of Southern California. The following season, Griffen played in sixteen games helping the Vikings special teams unit set a team record with a 26.9 kickoff return average. Everson struggled in his initial day, rose to fame in the 2015 season and was named the Pro Bowl team.
After spending nine seasons with the Vikings, Everson signed a one-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys in August 2020 but was traded to Detroit Lions. In August 2021, He moved back to the Vikings and signed a deal.
