Enes Kanter thinks the 2019 NBA Draft First Overall Pick Zion Williamson is Overhyped; "Julius Randle With Hops"

June 27, 2019 by Jack Ol

The 2019 NBA Draft first overall pick Zion Williamson is arguably the best college basketball prospect, since LeBron James in 2003. While everyone is waiting for the Duke star to flash his skills in the NBA, Enes Kanter has a different opinion.

The Portland Trail Blazers center is often seen being outspoken and his recent target is New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion. When Colin Cowherd about his thoughts on the Duke product, Enes had a clear answer.

“I kind of feel like he’s overhyped. I feel like he’s Julius Randle with hops. That’s how I believe. Some players are even scared to say it, but you know me, I’m not scared to say anything.”

Kanter said.

Randle had a better reply for Kanter as it seemed like he dunked on the Trail Blazers center's head.

Last time, Portland and New Orleans faced each other, Randle dropped 45 points despite losing by 122–110.
