Parma
In the year 2010, Danilo signed his first professional contract to Italian side Parma F.C. on a free transfer from Benfica which he had joined in 2008.
He enjoyed the second half of the 2010-11 season on a loan with Aris Thessaloniki F.C, appearing in 5 matches for 2 goals.
Upon his return to his parent club, Danilo made his Serie A debut against Catania Calcio in a 3-3 draw on 21st December 2011.
