Ronaldo moved to Madrid in July 2009 with a contract of 6-years for a transfer of $111,295,200 ( £80 million).  He was paid $254, 587 as weekly salary with an increase of 25% every year and annual salary being $13.21 million.

Later in September 2013, Ronaldo renewed his 5-year contract, gaining the weekly salary of $400,662 and an annual salary of $20.86 million in net after the tax deduction. Ronaldo making him the firm team member of Madrid, renewed his contract extension through 2021-2022 in November 2016.
