Christopher James Mears, celebrated as Chris Mears, is a British diver and DJ/Producer by profession. He was born on February 7, 1993 at Reading, Berkshire, England. He is the son of Paul Mears. His father name is Paul Mears. His biological mother name is not stated precisely as she died from breast cancer during his childhood. His father then had a second marriage with Katy. Chris has other two siblings in his family named Natalie, his older sister and Charlie, his younger brother.
Chris has done his schooling from The Willink School. He had a keen interest in sports from a very young age. He also joined diving classes in a local club of Reading. He has won various medals and awards in various national and international tournaments such as a fourth in 2010 Commonwealth Games, a silver medal in 2011 FINA Diving World Series, a bronze medal in 2013 Diving World Series in Edinburg. The doctors stated that there was only 5% chance of Chris to live and in case he does live he would never be able to dive again. However, Chris proved the doctors wrong and through his hard work and determination he continued his passion and participated in various diving tournaments.
Apart from diving, he also takes part in various social causes and events especially the causes related to homosexuality. He is very open and supportive about this issue. He has also posed for Gay Times Magazine for March 2013 issue.
