Amanda Busick began her broadcasting career working as an intern at WFMY News 2 in July of 2007 where she remained for 3 months. She then joined Carolina Hurricanes as Fan Development/Storm Squad and worked for 1 year and 6 months.

Busick then joined RLR Associates, LTD as an intern where she worked in the sports department.
