Ade first attended to the Southern Road Primary School in Plaistow, Newham and there he got the courage to deal with his disability. He took part in numerous extracurricular activities which helped him to an accomplished wheelchair basketball player at the University of Illinois in Chicago.
Ade determined to play basketball professionally for two years with CAI CDM Zaragoza and his dream came true. He was selected to compete in the Sydney 2000 Paralympics.
Later, his hard work led him in the field of television. In 2012, Ade was appointed as one of the main presenters on Channel 4 and afterward, he became one of the presenters of the new BBC travel series The Travel Show in 2014.
