Nabil Fekir's Career and World Cup 2018

He started his senior playing career with the French Ligue 1 football club, Lyon in their youth ranks in 2011.

Fekir made his debut for Lyon against Real Sociedad on 28 August 2013 and made his Ligue 1 debut against Evian TG in September 2013. For his outstanding performances for Lyon, he was awarded the UNFP Ligue 1 Player of the Year for the 2014/15 season.

After representing France at the under 21 teams, he made his full senior international debut for France against Bulgaria during the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers as a substitute for Antoine Griezmann played on  7 October 2015.
