At the age of 26, Zach Freeman made his MMA amateur debut at Missouri Regional where he faced Zack Short. He won the fight via KO. Further, he recorded all wins in his following three amateur fights against Colton Creason, Dave Drago, and Jason McDaniels.

Professional Career

On 16^th of July 2011, Freeman made his professional MMA career debut against Coty Cook at Missouri Regional. He had a fantastic debut as he won the fight against his opponent via TKO punches. For his second pro fight, Freeman participated in Rumble Time Promotions event where he faced Marcus Penland and again set his victory via submission.

Further, he returned to Missouri Regional and compiled two wins against Darius Yancy and Bryant Whitaker.

On 30^th September 2016, Freeman faced Thiago Moises at RFA 44: Moises vs. Freeman for the Title Challenge. However, he lost the fight via unanimous decision in the round three of the bout.

Bellator

In June 2017, Zach Freeman signed to Bellator, making his debut on 24^th June, at Bellator NYC: Sonnen vs. Silva. He won his first Bellator bout defeating Aaron Pico in the first round via submission. He next faced Saas Awad at Bellator 186: Bader vs. Vassell. He lost the fight via TKO punches in the first round.

On 13^th of April 2018, he was scheduled to face Zak Bucia. However, the fight was canceled due to Freeman’s injury.

Zach Freeman is a married person. He exchanged the vows with his long-time girlfriend, Katie. Freeman often posts adorable pictures with his wife in his official Instagram account. It seems that the couple doesn’t have a child yet.
