Yu Hai is a professional Chinese soccer player who currently plays for China national team and Shanghai SIPG in the Chinese Super League as a left winger.
Yu Hai was born on June 4, 1987, in Luoyang, Henan, China. Yu Hai was born to Chinese Parents and grew up along with his siblings. Yu Hai belongs to the Han ethnicity and holds a Chinese nationality.
Yu Hai began his football career with a professional Chinese football club, Beijing Renhe F.C. in 2004. Similarly, Yu Hai made his official debut for the club over Qingdao Etsong on May 16, 2004. He played over thirty matches for the club until 2006.
After then, in 2007 Yu Hai joined Vitesse club for a year. For the club Hai gave ten appearances. While Yu Hai was in a club, he was unable to make himself in the team. Afterward, Yu Hai was released from Vitesse after the 2008 Summer Olympics.
After that, Yu Hai signed a new contract with a Chinese football club, Beijing Renhe F.C. in 2009. After two next season, Yu Hai became a regular player for the team. For the club, he played over 150 matches and scored 19 goals until 2014.
In 2015, he signed a contract with a professional football club, Shanghai SIPG F.C. Then, Yu Hai took his first step for the club on March 7, 2015, over Jiangsu Sainty, where he scored his first goal. Since 2015, he is playing with the team as a left winger in the Chinese Super League.
Yu Hai represented his senior national team on June 4, 2009, away Saudi Arabia. Similarly, Yu Hai was named China’s squad for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup. His team won the East Asian Football Championship in 2010.
