Jose Yordy Reyna Serna simply known as Yordy Reyna is a professional football player who plays as a striker for Peru National Team and Canadian professional soccer club, Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
Apart from playing for several football clubs, he has also represented Peru in their youth teams and made his senior debut for Peru in 2013.
Yordy Reyna was born to mother, Lucia Serna Mendoza on September 17, 1993, at Chiclayo, Peru. He holds a Peruvian nationality. He is the youngest of three children and lost his dad when he was 8.
After impressing the authorities of Peruvian football club, Alianza Lima, he joined their youth club in 2009.

He then moved to Austria and signed with Austrian professional football club, Red Bull Salzburg for a transfer fee of € 2 million in 2013.
The Peruvian defender was immediately loaned to Austrian club FC Liedering followed by SV Grodig.
He also played as a loan for German football club, RB Leipzig for the rest of 2015 season. While with playing for Austrian club, he was able to win Austrian League and Austrian Cup in 2013/14,2015/16.
He is currently playing for Candidian football club, Vancouver Whitecaps FC whom he signed in 2017 and made his club debut on 1 July 2017. He scored his first goal against New City FC on 8 July 2017.
After having represented Peru at South American Youth Championship in 2013 held in Argentina. He made his senior international debut for Peru against Chile on 22 March 2013.
He scored his first international goal for Peru against Trinidad and Tobago in a friendly match on 26 March 2013.
