Vahid Amiri is an Iranian international football player who currently plays as a left midfielder, winger, and striker for National Team of Iran and Persian Gulf Pro League professional Club, Persepolis F.C.

In July 2008, Vahid Amiri began his professional career with the Datis Lorestan. Further, he left the club after making 10 appearances scoring 1 goal until 2009.

He was transferred to Kowsar Lorestan on July 1, 2009. Before leaving the club, he played  14 games.

On July 1, 2010, Amiri signed a one-year contract with Gahar Zagros. For the club, he scored 4 goals in 22 appearances.

On July 1, 2011, Amiri moved to Naft Masjed Soleyman with whom he played 48 games scoring two goals until 2013.

On July 1, 2013, Amiri moved to Naft Tehran with a two-year contract and scored his first goal in August 2013 against Damash Gilan in a 1-1-draw.

Amiri later scored his first goal in Asian Champions League on April 7, 2015, against Saudi Club, AL-Shabab. Later, he left the club after making 78 appearances with 11 goals.

On July 1, 2016, He moved to Persepolis after completing his contract with Naft Tehran. He then scored his first goal in a 1-1- draw against Foolad in August 2016.

Vahid Amiri won Persian Gulf Pro League (2016-017) and Iranian Super Cup in 2017 along with his team. He has so far, scored 7 goals in 47 appearances since 2016.

Vahid Amiri’s International Career

Vahid Amiri was invited to National Team for 2015 AFC Asian Cup in December 2014. At the age of 26, he made his international cap with the National Team of Iran in January 2015 on a friendly match against Iraq.

At the Asian Cup 2015, Amir missed the penalty against Iraq which led Iran to elimination. He later scored his first goal over Chile in a  2-0 victory.

Amiri has been capped 31 times, scoring 1 goal. In November 2017, he was invited in a match against Panama & Venezuela along with Saeid AghaeiAkbar Imani, and Mehdi Torabi.
