Tony Wroten, Jr. is an American basketball player by profession. He was born on April 13, 1993 at Renton Washington. He is the son of Tony Wroten, Sr., and Shirley. His father was a football player at University of Washington and for Tampa Bay Buccaneers and his mother ran tracks at Washington and Arizona State University. He has two other sisters named Latasha Walker and Teonna Wroten.
Tony did his high school from Garfield High School where he was the player member representing the high school. He was listed as No. 3 point guard and No. 14 player in the nation in 2011. Later, he enrolled in the University of Washington where he continued to play basketball.
He started his professional career in 2012 where was selected by Memphis Grizzlies in the 2012 NBA draft. In 2013, Tony got traded to Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for future second round pick and a trade exception. However, currently he is the point guard / shoots guard of the New York Knicks. The player has got a stats of 145 games played with the score of 11.1 points per game.
Till date Tony has achieved many career highlights and awards which is very impressive for his age. He has achieved the title of Second-team Parade All-Pac-12 (2011), Pac-12 Freshman of the Year (2012), First-team All-Pac-12 (2012) and so on.
