Career

Following the 2011 Walker Cup, Lewis turned professional, making his debut at the Austrian Golf Open. There he shoots a two-over-par 74 in the first round. After two months, he had his maiden professional win at the Portugal Masters on the European Tour, shooting rounds of 70, 64, 68, and 65 to finish two shots clear of the field. In December, he was awarded the European Tour's Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year.

From 2012, Lewis played on the European Tour. Though he loses his spot after the 2016 season he regained it after a good performance at Q-school.

In 2018, he showed a return to form, playing in a number of the Challenge Tour. In September, he won the Bridgestone Challenge. Further, he won his second Portugal Masters title on the European Tour. 
On 2nd September 209, Lewis tasted his first  Korn Ferry Tour Championship which earned him a PGA Tour card for the 2019–20 seasons. 

In August 2020, he finished as a runner-up at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, three strokes behind winner Justin Thomas.
