He was named to the First Team All-Big West as well as Big West Newcomer of the Year. Following the season, he declared for the 2021 NBA draft but was unselected.
On 5th September 2021, Starks signed his first professional contract with Rytas Vilnius of the Lithuanian Basketball League.
