Tim Boetsch was born on January 28, 1981, in Lincolnville, Maine, the USA to mother, Janice Boetsch, and father, Greg Boetsch. He has an older brother, Aaron Boetsch born in 1971 and cites him as his inspiration for wrestling abilities while growing up.
Boestsch also had a brief Jeet Kun Do training and later attended Camden Hills Regional High School.
He is the four-time state wrestling champion with the institution and was inducted into school’s Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2012.
Boetsch then attended Lock Haven Unversity in Pennsylvania with a wrestling scholarship and trained under UFC legend, Pat Miletich.
