Sanharib Malki Sabah best known as Sanharib Malki is a Syrian professional footballer who currently plays for Al-Warah in the Qatar Stars League as well as for the Syrian national team as a striker. Apart from this, he is also an Ambassador of the Syriac Aramean Federation in the Netherlands and often appears in Dutch media and publishes open letters to the Dutch Ministers to support the Aramean cause in their homeland: Iraq, Turkey, and Syria.
Sanharib Malki was born on 1st of March 1984, in Qamishli, Syria. His birth name is Sanharib Malki Sabah and his birth sign is Pisces. Regarding his nationality, the star footballer holds a Syrian nationality and he belongs to Aramean ethnicity. He also has a younger sister.
Sangarib Malki began his football career professionally with the club SCUO Jette where he remained till 2002 from 1999. In 2002, Malki joined Union St-Gilloise, signing his very first professional contract. He appeared in 100 leagues game and scored 45 goals. Following his excellent performance, he was signed by Roeselare where he played 2006-07 seasons.
He then moved to Germinal Beerschot and in 2009 he joined Belgian football club, Lokeren. After 2 years, he went on to play for Panthrakikos on loan. After short spell to Panthrakikos, he signed for Roda JC Kerkrade and subsequently for Kasimpasa.
Currently, he is playing for Qatari sports club Al-Wakrah, wearing 84 number shirt as a striker.
In 2008, Malki joined Syria national team. He made his international debut in the “2010 FIFA World Cup qualification” tournament against Kuwait. On 22nd June 2008, he scored his first international goal for his nation in a 3-1 win against the United Arab Emirates during “2010 FIFA World Cup qualification”.
Till the date, the player has received 28 caps and scored 7 goals for the Syrian national team. Before Malki land to Syrian national team, he was on training camp with the Belgian U-23 national team.
