On 1st September 2019, Cincinnati Bengals claimed off waiver but was again waived on 7th October and then re-signed to the team's practice squad on 18th October.
On 24th December 2019, Perine the Miami Dolphins signed Perine to the Bengals practice squad. On 26th April 2020, he was waived.
On 28th April 2020, Cincinnati claimed Perine's waiver.
