Early Career

In 2013, Botelho made her professional debut, missing knockout victory over Ingrid Schwarts and Thais Raphaela in KTAF and Favela Kombat respectively. The following year, she competes for the vacant flyweight title in the promotion Bitetti Combat and eventually got defeated by Viviane Pereira via Unanimous Decision.

Botelho later signed for the Xtreme Fighting Championship as a Flyweight.

Xtreme Fighting Championship

Botelho participated in Xtreme Fighting Championship's second women’s flyweight tournament in 2014. In September of the same year, she made her promotional debut against Karina Rodriguez at XFCi 6, winning the fight by TKO. The win led Botelho to the semifinal round of the tournament.

In December, she faced Taila Santos at XFCi but Santos failed to make weight which led to the cancellation of the bout and Botelho was advanced to the tournament’s final round.  

Following her success in XFC career, Botelho moved to UFC in 2016.

Ultimate Fighting Championship

Botelho was set to make her professional UFC debut against Valerie Letourneau at UFC 2016 but had to withdraw due to an injury.

On 7th October 2017, Botelho made her UFC debut against Pearl Gonzalez at UFC 216 and won the fight via unanimous decision.

Botelho defeated Syuri Kondo at UFC Fight Night 129 on 19th May 2018 but lost to Cynthia Calvillo at UFC Fight Night: Magny vs. Ponzinibbio. She is scheduled to face Maryna Moroz at UFC 241 on August 18, 2019.
