Professional Career

 Pierre-Luc Dubois started to play Ice hockey when he was only 3 years old.  At that time, his family lived in Germany and his father played in Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL).

Similarly, Dubois played in the 2010 and 2011 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournaments against Rimouski oceanic minor ice hockey team. After that, he was selected by the Quebec Major Junior Hockey team and then played for Screaming Eagles in the 2014 and 2015 seasons.

Apart from this, he was picked no. 3 in the 2016 NHL draft by the Columbus Blue Jackets. On his 18th birthday, he was drafted by Columbus Blue Jacket. He signed a three-year contract with the Club but was traded for Blainville-Boisbriand Armada.

He scored the first goal of his NHL career on October  6, 2017, against New York Islanders. He scored a playoff hattrick in a 4–3 overtime victory against the Toronto Maple Leaf in 2020, August 6.

Dubois signed a two-year contract extension with Blue Jacket in 2020 but asked for a trade. He joined Winnipeg Jets on January 23 in exchange for Patrik Laine and Jack Roslovic.
