Bruce Buffer talks about his UFC Future; Not Retiring for at least another 10 years MMA

Good news for the UFC fans who love hearing the announcement from Bruce Buffer at UFC. He recently announced his plan revealing that he will be with the UFC for at least 10 years more.

The 63-year-old has been the ring announcer of the multi-million-dollar promotion for around 25 years since 1996 and has been a huge part of the company. Regarded as one of the best ring announcers, he has introduced unarguably the best names in the mixed martial arts with his electrifying voice and wardrobe and hopes to do it for a decade more.

“I always give 150 percent every time I walk into the Octagon. I’ve said it many times, every time I walk out on Saturday, those are the nights I have to prove I deserve the job. When I am there with no audiences with two great warriors in Stipe and DC, even when there are 50 thousand people in an arena, when the introduction happens it is just me and the fighter. Just enhance the moment.”

Buffer said on Just Scrap Radio on BJPENN.com.

Buffer made is debut with the UFC debut at UFC 8 in Puerto Rico announcing the card headlined by Ken Shamrock and Kimo Leopoldo. He soon broadened his fanbase by his famous 'It's Time' or 'fighting out of the red corner' catchphrases.

With his growing age, there were several queries about how long will he be the voice of Octagon and also the voice of the UFC- well, for a decade more, he revealed.

“I’m very humble about it all. I’m all about passion, everything I do is with a passion that is the reason why I announce the way I do. When that passion starts to fade, which is not my case, then yes that is the time I will probably announce it is my time to retire. But, I would say you are stuck with me for at least another 10 years. I’m in great shape and stay in great shape. I’m lucky to do what I do.”

Bruce Buffer added.

He also said that he has been very careful with his voice and avoided the things that would harm the throat. He still expects to be with the UFC until 73 or more.
