Omari Sirazhudinovich Akhmedov is a Russian professional Mixed Martial artist who fights under the Welterweight category in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

He made his UFC debut against Thiago Perpetuo on November 9, 2013, at the UFC event, UFC Fight Night 32 and a hard-fought contest, he won via knockout.

In his welterweight debut, he faced off against Gunnar Nelson on March 8, 2014, and lost through guillotine choke submission hold in the first round. He was expected to face Lyman Good on December 10, 2015, at UFCNight 80 and instead was replaced by Sergio Morales.

Akmedeov replaced Dominique Steel and fought against Kyle Noke on November  27, 2016, at UFC Fight Night 101 and won through a unanimous decision.

He next went against Abdul Razak  Al Hassan on May 28, 2017, and won through a split decision.

Akmedeov fought with Marvin Vettori on December 30, 2017, at UFC 219 and bout ended in a draw.
