An English prominent footballer Nathaniel Nyakie Chalobah simply known as Nathaniel Chalobah made his professional footballer debut with the football club Chelsea in the year 2010. Currently the star footballer, Chalobah plays for the Premier League side Watford club as a defender or midfielder.

Early Life

Nathaniel Chalobah was born on 12th of November 1994, in Freetown, Sierra Leone. His birth name is Nathaniel Nyakie Chalobah and birth sign is Sagittarius. Regarding his nationality, he is a Sierra Leonean and is of African ethnicity. At the tender age of 7, Chalobah moved to England and was raised alongside his younger brother Trevoh in Gipsy Hill in the London Borough of Lambeth.

Chalobah attended St Andrews R.C. Primary school and further enrolled at Bishop Thomas Grant School which is located in Streatham, South London.

He began playing football at the age of nine. Chalobah first joined Fulham FC as during his youth career then switched to Chelsea.

Club Career

Chelsea

After 5 years of the spell in the youth team of Chelsea, Nathaniel Chalobah joined the reserve team of the club in 2010. During, 2010-11 seasons he won the national championship with the club as a reserved member of the team.

At the age of 17, he signed a very first professional contract with the Chelsea which would last until summer of 2014.

Loan Spell

Watford

On 31st of August 2012, Chalobah was loaned to Watford. On 18th September, he made his team debut against Brighton & Hove Albion. His first goal came in 2-1 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers on 17th November. Till January 2013, he scored 5 goals and made 38 appearances for the club.

Nottingham

On 19th September 2013, Chalobah joined Nottingham Forest on loan. On 21st September, he made his team debut. Similarly, on 26th October, he scored the first goal for the club in a 3-1 win over Yeovil.

Middlesbrough

After the expiration of his loan spell with Forest, the young talent, Chalobah played for Middlesbrough. He played 19 league matches for the club scoring 1 goal.

Burnley

On 1st of September 2014, Chalobah signed a contract with Burnley on loan. He made his team debut against West Bromwich Albion as a first-half substitute on 28th September. Two days later, he suffered an injury.

On 1st November, he made his last appearances against Arsenal in a 3-0 loss.

Reading

On 22nd January 2015, Chalobah was loaned to Reading for the remainder of the season. There, he debuted in an FA Cup match against Cardiff City on 24th January. 3 days later, he made his league debut against Millwall.

Napoli

Chalobah played 2015-16 season for Napoli, appearing in 5 leagues matches.

Return to Chelsea

In summer of 2016, he returned to Chelsea. He made his first-team debut on 20th September, in a 4-2 win over Leicester City.

Re-signed to Watford

On 13th July 2017, Chalobah signed a 5-year contract for Premier League club Watford for an undisclosed worth.

International Career

Chalobah was a part of England U-16, U-17, U-19, U-20, and U-21 national team. Going deep, he was a member of England U-17 national team who won the "2010 UEFA European U-17 Championship" as a captain of the team.

He is also eligible to play for his birth nation Sierra Leone, despite, he choose to play for England national team.

He was first called up for his senior national team in August 2017, for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Slovakia and Malta.

The young professional footballer is currently in an open relationship with his girlfriend Antonia Leah Georgio. The two seems extremely serious about their love affair. Chalobah often shares an adorable picture with his girlfriend on social networking sites such as Instagram and Twitter.
