Mason Crosby was born by his name Mason Walker Crosby on September 3, 1984, in Lubbock, Texas, the United States. He is an American by his nationality and his ethnicity is white.

He was born as a child of mother Karen and father, Jim Crosby. He also has a sibling sister named Rees Crosby.

Crosby finished his high schooling from Georgetown high school. He went to the University of Colorado, where he played for the Colorado Buffaloes football team from 2003 to 2006.

In the year 2005, he received Walter Camp All-American & Lou Groza Award runner-up awards.

Professional Career

Mason Crosby started his professional career with Green Bay Packers in 2007 after being picked in the 6th round of the NFL Draft. He played in the preseason game against Pittsburgh Steelers, where kicked a 52-yard field goal, the longest field goal in the history of Heinz Field.

Crosby was also the member of the team that played the Super Bowl XLV against the Steelers at the end of 2010 season and got 31–25 victory.

In 2011, he signed another contract with Packers worth $14 million that would keep him for 5 more years.


He extended his contract with the club in 2016. The Packers had a difficult year due to the injury of Aaron Rodgers in 2017.
