Lucas Barrios was born on 13 November 1984, in San Fernando, Argentina. His full name is Lucas Ramón Barrios Cáceres and his parents are Eugenio Barrios and Petrona Caceres. Though he was born in Argentina he was eligible to hold Paraguayan nationality as his mother was a Paraguayan.
