The highly-anticipated Lionel Messi transfer saga has taken a left turn as the recent reports claim that the Argentine is likely to stay at Camp Nou for at least one more season. Daily Mail reported that the Catalans president Josep Maria Bartomeu had a meeting with Messi's father Jorge Messi and his agent and requested him to convince Messi to stay in Barcelona.
As per TyC Sports in Argentina, Messi is now "90%" likely to stay at FC Barcelona and he has received the message from the club's official and will rethink about his transfer. He will probably stay until his contract expires in 2021.
"Messi is seriously evaluating staying in Barcelona until 2021 and leaving through the front door at the end of his contract."
