Rezaei was the top goal scorer for Iranian U-16 team that won the AFC U-16 Championship which was held at Uzbekistan and also took part in FIFA U-17 World Cup.
After an impressive career at 2013 AFC U-22 Championship where he was the highest goal scorer that includes a hattrick, he received his first call-up for Iran senior team on Agust 2015.
He made his international debut against India during 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifier and is expected to play alongside Ali Karimi, Ehsan Hajsafi and Saeid Ezatolahi for Iran at the FIFA World Cup in 2018.
The fan of French football legend Thierry Henry, Kaveh Rezaei is happily married to his wife Farnoosh Sheikhi, a national women volleyball player for Iran. The couple got married in May 2017.
