Kaka is a Brazilian professional football player who played as an attacking midfielder for the Orlando City and the Brazil national team. The 35 years old professional has played for clubs like São Paulo, Milan, Real Madrid, and Orlando City.

Early Life

Kaka was born as Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite on 22 April 1982 to Brazilian parents Bosco Izecson Pereira Leite, a civil engineer and Simone dos Santos, an elementary school teacher. His younger brother is also a retired professional football player. He holds both Brazilian and Italian citizenship.

Club Career

Kaka began his professional football career in 2001 joining the Brazilian professional club São Paulo. He made his senior team debut on 1 February 2001. His two years career with the club ended with the total 59 appearances and 23 goals.

He then made his move to the top-tier Italian side A.C MILAN in 2003. His Serie A debut was a 2–0 win over Ancona. His six successive season with the club ended with 193 caps and 70 goals. He won the FIFA World Player of the Year after winning the 2006-07 Champions League.

He further moved to one of the world's best club Real Madrid on 8 June 2009, signing to a six-year deal with the club. He made his official debut on 7 August 2009 in a match against Toronto, and his first goal for the club was on 19 August 2009

His Real Madrid team included players like Raul, Zinedine Zidane, Roberto Carlos. His four successive season with the club ended with a total 85 appearances and 23 goals.

He returned to Milan on 2 September 2013 and became the vice-captain of his team. For the club, he played for just a years, showing skills on 30 games and scoring seven goals. He further moved to the American club Orlando City on 12 June 2014.

He was in the club for three seasons and further sent on a loan to his first club São Paulo on 3 July 2014. He played 19 games for the club scoring three goals and again went back to Orlando City.

International Career

Kaka has represented his national team Brazil at both junior and senior levels. He made his professional national team debut on 31 January 2002, in a friendly match against Bolivia. Kaka was the part of the Brazilian national team that won the FIFA World Cup 2002. He has won 92 caps for his national side scoring 29 goals.

Personal Life

Kaka is a married man; he married his childhood love, girlfriend Caroline Celico. After dating for some years, the couple tied their knots on 23 December 2005 at a Rebirth in Christ church in São Paulo, among their family and friends.

The couple together has two children. Their first son Luca Celico Leite was born on 10 June 2008, and their daughter Isabella was born on 23 April 2011. The couple announced their divorce in 2015. He is recently dating the Brazilian model Carolina Dias.
