Renowned Russian-American mixed martial artist, Justine Kish currently fights in the Ultimate Fighting Championship Strawweight division.
Justin Kish was born on 13th of April 1988, in Saint Petersburg, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union, and was adopted by an American couple. In her teen, she discovered Muay Thai, commonly known as Thai boxing, while taking up fitness, which ultimately led her to competitions.
Kish competed in Muay Thai for ten years, winning 18 matches and a “World Muaythai Council” championship belt in the process.
In 2010, Justine Kish began her professional MMA Career. She has collected an unbeatable record of five wins along with no losses, including a victory against “The Ultimate Fighter” housemate Randa Markson.
The UFC announced Kish as one of the fighters to appear on The Ultimate Fighter: A Champion, in September 2013. By Coach Anthony Pettis, she picked seventh, and she was expected to face Bec Rawlings in the first round but was forced out of the tournament due to a knee injury. Kish’s knee injury took her out of the finale.
On 2nd of January 2016, Justine Kish made her UFC debut against Nina Ansaroff at UFC 195, winning the fight by common decision.
On December 9, 2016, she faced Ashley Yoder at UFC Night: Levis vs. Abdurakimov in a catchweight bout as Kish missed weight. And again, Kish won the fight by common decision.
On 25th of June 2017, she competed as an opponent to Felice Herrig and lost a unanimous decision.
