Surely Jrue and Lauren are the great examples of the strong and lovely couple. Recalling the glimpse of flashback, Jrue and Lauren were reported to be lovers while both were high school students. As reported, the Campbell Hall School's basketballer Jrue met Lauren for the first time in 2008 at the UCLA women's basketball game.
Well, unlike other relationships, Lauren was the first to approach Jrue while he was taking his seat, as she asked Jrue if he was Darren Collison and asked for his autograph. However, even after explaining that he was not Darren, it was not the end. As per ESPN, the girl behind Jure's seat told him:
"Don't worry, you're cuter than Darren is."
Surely, you have guessed, she is none other than Lauren. However, the couple was then in other relationships, but it didn't take long to become friends which later changed into datings.
Reportedly, soon after Jrue was drafted by Philadelphia 76ers in 2009 NBA draft, the couple relationship came into action.
Thinking about Lauren's profession? Well, she was the United States Women's National Soccer Team midfielder born as Lauren Cheney, however, currently, she is retired with her announcement in 2015 after scoring the team’s third goal in the Women’s World Cup final.
Ahead of datings, understandings play a vital role in the promotion of relationship. And the lovely couple: Jrue and Lauren, blessed with strong affection and understanding, took their relationship to another level after 4 years of dating.
Yeah, the couple got married on July 7, 2013, in a Cypress Sea Cove in Malibu, in presence of their close friends and relatives, which was managed by the wedding planner Marisa Nicole. The same month, Jrue was traded to New Orleans Pelicans from Philadelphia 76ers.

After 3 years of marriage, the happiness again approached the couple as the news of Lauren's pregnancy in 2016, hit the highlights. The baby cry made the happiness of the couple double as they became parents for the first time with the welcome of their daughter Jrue Tyler Holiday in the mid-September 2016.
Have a look at the pretty baby.
But, the happiness was nearly devastated after the Holiday family, got to know that doctors had discovered a benign tumor on the right side of Lauren’s brain, as per NOLA.com.
However, the issue got solved after the successful surgery of Lauren. Let's know more in detail.
Amid Lauren's six-month pregnancy, the happiness of the couple got a crack with the news of Lauren being diagnosed with brain tumor in September 2016. Following the doctor's suggestions, Jrue made the announcement of his absence from the Pelicans till the recovery of his wife and child health.
In his interview with NOLA.com, Jrue told:
"My family comes before basketball. I’m obviously blessed to play this game and be in the position I am in, but my wife is the most important thing in the world to me. She comes before anything else."
"Obviously, we were and are still very excited about the birth of our first child, but our focus shifted from having this magnificent blessing to making sure everything is going to be OK with Lauren and the child. Our priorities right now are being able to manage Lauren’s symptoms and still have a fairly healthy pregnancy."
And thanks to the Pelicans, they made the announcement that they will continue to pay Jrue, his salary of $11 million during his absence though. With gratitude to Pelicans, Jrue told:
"The Pelicans have been great. There wasn’t any pressure to be with the team or to choose between my team and my wife. They told me to be a husband first. I don’t think they know how much their support means to me and my family."
And now, after the successful surgery, Jrue is enjoying his time with his family and even can be seen sharing lovely moments. Have a look.
Happy family!
