Jiang Ning was born on September 1, 1986, in Qingdao, Shandong, China. Regarding his nationality, Jiang Ning is Chinese and belongs to Han ethnicity.
At the age of 11, Jiang Ning began his football career with the youth team, Qingdao Jonoon in 1997. He played with the club for around five years. Ning then made his senior debut in 2004 over Inter Shanghai and scored his first goal. In the 2005 season, he became the top scorer with six goals.
