James Graham's Career

Graham started his career by joining the junior club of Saints in 2000. He then joined a professional rugby league club, “St Helens” in 2003, and his first match came in August of the same year against Castleford. He was later named for the match against New Zealand in 2006. He was named as the Young Player of the Year after making 27 appearances. He then extended his contract with the team until 2011.

James Graham was later honored with the 2008 Man of Steel award, making the fourth successive St Helens' player to win the prestigious award. He was nominated for the award along with teammates Sean Long, Paul Sculthorpe, Jamie Lyon, James Roby, Paul Wellens, and James Roby. For the club, he has scored 212 points in 225 matches, with 53 tries and 0 goals before ending his career.

James Graham then signed a contract with Canterbury-Bankstown in 2012 and played 26 games in his debut season and was a member of the team that lost the Grand Final against "Melbourne Storm". He and his teammates, Hodkinson held the co-captain position after his team captain Michael Ennis suffered a foot injury.

James Graham made his debut in the international field with the Great Britain national rugby league team in 2006. His first match with the England team came in 2008 against France and named in the 2008 Rugby League World Cup team.

James Graham later held the captain position for the 2010 Four Nations after Adrian Morley was injured. He has represented his national side for the 2011 Four Nations and 2013 Rugby League World. For the England-Britain national rugby league team, he played 39 matches in which he made 12 points. Moreover, he is a member of the NRL All-Stars in two games.
