Jaden Springer is a consensus five-star recruit American college basketball player known as one of the best shooting guards of his class. He is currently playing in Southern Conference League for Tennessee college.

Jaden Springer was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, on September 25, 2002. Born to Gary Springer, Sr. and Barbarita Springer, he has four siblings, Gary Jr, Jamie, Jordan, and Taniqua. He holds an American nationality with black ethnicity. He stands 6 feet 5 inches tall with a weight of about 93kg (205lbs).

Basketball career

When he was in his eighth grade, Springer played a squad basketball match for Lighthouse Christian School in Tennessee. In that match, he averaged 19 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. He played for the Rocky River High School for the first two years of his high school. 

He led his team to its first state tournament appearance with an average of 21.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, and five assists per game in his freshman year. He even helped Rocky River reach the Class 4A state semifinals by averaging 24.7 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.4 steals, and 2.4 blocks per game as a sophomore.

Springer later transferred to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, one of America's best teams in his junior and senior seasons. He helped his team win GEICO High Schools Nationals by averaging 15.6 points, four rebounds, and four assists in his junior session.

Similarly, in his senior session, he played for IMG with averaging 17.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game. He was even selected to play in the McDonald's All-American Game, which was later rescheduled due to Covid-19.

Tennessee's suffered from quite a tragic and shocking moment when their team's best shooter suffered from an injury. He suffered from a left ankle and is currently recovering for a while, so he has to sideline some of his matches. Rick Barnes, team head coach, has said that Springer will return eventually in his best form after a while.
