Heather Hardy is an American mixed martial artist as well as a professional boxer who is currently competing at the American renowned MMA promotion, Bellator MMA. She has won both UBF and WBC Female Super Bantamweight International Champion

Hardy is also the first female MMA athlete to sign a prolong contract with Dibella Entertainment.

Heather Hardy is of American nationality. She was born on 25 January 1982 in Brooklyn, New York, the United States of America to mother, Linda Hardy, and father, John Hardy.

Besides her family, she has two siblings who are younger than him, Colin and  Kaitlyn Hardy.

In her growing years,  she was an excellent athlete and wanted to be the first female pitcher to represent New York Yankees.

She attended John  Jay College of Criminal Justice and received her graduate degree in Forensic Psychology at the age of 22.

Before she began her MMA career, she was a kickboxer and began her kickboxing classes in 2010.

Hardy won her first kickboxing match in 2010 and later went on to win the USA Boxing 2011 National Title and won the NYC Gloves Featherweight. She was named the Best Female Boxer of the Tournament in 2012.

After a successful kickboxing career, she switched her boxing career to mixed martial arts. And later made her MMA debut at Bellator 180, facing Alice Yauger in 2017 at the Madison Square Garden. Hardy won the fight with a TKO in the third round.

The MMA female athlete later went against Kristina Williams at Bellator 185  but lost the match via TKO in the second round.

Hardy fought Ana Julaton on February 16, 2018, at Bellator 194, which she won via unanimous decision.

Heather Hardy's  Personal Life

Hardy is a divorced woman. She started dating her now ex-husband prior to her graduation. Speaking to espnW, Hardy revealed after graduation she lived in a small illegal apartment with her daughter Annie. She had to struggle to provide a better life for her daughter for her husband provided her no child support.

Hardy and her husband got separated after six years of marital relationship in 2010.

Currently, she is raising and taking good care of her daughter as a single mother. She is a committed mother and devoted to her daughter very need and causes.

Hardy also dated a guy named Devon Cormack during the early phase of her MMA career.
