Harvey Barnes was born on December 9, 1997, in Burnley, England, into a family steeped in football. He grew up in Countesthorpe, Leicestershire, inspired by his dad, Paul Barnes, a former professional player.
Harvey showed great talent from an early age on local pitches and in school teams, with high hopes for a successful football career.
In 2007, nine-year-old Barnes joined the Leicester City academy. He immediately made a name for himself on the pitch as bright and ambitious. Up until he signed his first professional deal with Leicester City on 25 June 2016, Barnes had become one of the best wingers in the Premier League since his arrival, netting many very crucial goals.

On July 23, 2023, Barnes completed his transfer to Newcastle United for an alleged fee of around £38 million. The move represented a new, exciting chapter in his career, with him signing for a club that has designs on competing at the highest level. His contract runs until June 30, 2028.
Barnes represented England at varied levels of youth and then played in the team that won the 2017 Toulon Tournament. He made his senior bow on November 12, 2020-a chance to shine wearing the iconic Three Lions jersey.
