Aaron Rodgers is a man of his words!
The two time MVP signed a four-year extension with the Packers worth $134 million which will see him earn more than any players in the history. As he promised earlier, his contract news would be revealed by his former Packers teammate James Jones.
The Quarterback has kept his promise.
On Wednesday, the current NFL Network analyst, Jones broke the contract extension of the best quarterback in the NFL through his Twitter post.

Jones later revealed the whole process on NFL Network the same day.
Rodgers called Jones on Tuesday night and told that the deal was about to happen. ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Rob Demovsky also reported that the Packers were close to signing Rodgers contract extension.

Later The Packers QB confirmed about the deal done and told Jones to broke the news on the Twitter.
"I tweeted it, and I was like, geez Louise, I think I’m hanging my cleats up from breaking news after this one.”
Jones said.
The official tweet from the Packers was made on Wednesday. Rodgers will now earn $33.5 million in salary and more from incentives in a year.
