Fernandinho was born on May 4, 1985, in Londrina, Brazil. His birth name is Fernando Luiz Roza. He was born to father, Luis Carlos Roza, and mother, Cristiane Machado de Oliveira and grew up along with his sibling, Thais. Regarding his nationality, Roza is a Brazilian and belongs to the Afro-American ethnicity.
Club Career
Fernandinho had interest in football since his childhood. Thus, Fernando began his football career with a Brazilian football team, “Clube Atletico Paranaense” in 2002. He left the club in 2005, playing 72 games and scoring 14 goals.
After that, Fernandinho signed a contract with Ukrainian professional football club, “FC Shakhtar Donetsk," worth around €7 million. During his first season, Roza played 34 matches, including 23 league appearances, and scoring three goals.
