Eric Williams is a rising American college basketball player. He is currently playing in the Pac-12 Conference for the University of Oregon basketball team. Williams plays as a Forward for his team. Eric had listed his name for the 2021 NBA draft but was removed from the list shortly.
Eric Williams was born Eric Williams Jr on July 20, 1999, in Port Huron, Miami. He is the son of Clarice Williams and her husband, Eric Williams. Willaims graduated from New Heavens High School and enrolled at Duquesne University, majoring in political science. Williams stands six feet and seven inches tall and weighs 85 kg.
Eric started playing basketball with his father in their backyard. He played numerous sports in High School and only took up basketball in High School. Williams averaged a team-high 17.1 points per game to go along with 4.3 rebounds, 2.9 steals and 2.5 assists per game as a junior. Eric led the scorer for the 27-1 Class B State Champion New Haven High School for his senior year.

Eric transferred to the University of Oregon for his junior year and redshirted in the preseason. He played in all twenty-four games, started in twenty-one games, and ranked 11th in the Pac-12 in rebounding at 6.0 per game. After completing his junior year, Williams listed his name for the 2021 NBA draft in early April 2021, but In June, He withdrew his name from the list and returned for the senior year with Oregon's.
