On 9th January 2020, Dike was picked in the first round (5th overall) of the 2020 MLS SuperDraft by Orlando City. On 25th July, he debuted as a 75th-minute substitute for Tesho Akindele in a 1–0 win against Montreal Impact in the MLS is Back Tournament round of 16. On 22nd August, he had his first career brace in a 3–1 victory over Nashville SC.

On 1st February 2021, Dike signed to EFL Championship club Barnsley on loan until the end of the 2020–21 season. The deal was reported $20 million option to buy and a 20% sell-on fee clause. On 11th February 2021, he made Barnsley debut as a 59th-minute substitute for Victor Adeboyejo in a 1–0 FA Cup fifth-round defeat to Premier League side Chelsea. Later three days, he made his league debut starting and playing 56 minutes of a 2–0 win over Brentford. On 24th February, he scored his first goal in a 2-0 league victory over Stoke City. 

At the international level, he made his international debut as a 65th-minute substitute for Paul Arriola in a 7–0 friendly win over Trinidad and Tobago on 31st January 2021.
