Daniel Wass is a professional Danish footballer who currently plays for the Spanish club Celta de Vigo in La Liga. After playing for 2 seasons, he made his move to Benfica after the end of the loan tenure.

On 20 May 2011, Daniel signed a 5-year-contract with Benfica with a free transfer but soon after that, on July 22, he was loaned out to Evian Thonon Gaillard F.C.  At that time, Daniel's market value reached over $3.13 million.
