Dakota Bush is an American professional MMA fighter of the UFC lightweight division. Bush went to the University of Central Missouri. Besides MMA, he also works for Hyde Sheet Metal doing architectural sheet metal work.
As an amateur, he won the MO regional sectional, and state titles. He trained under Patrick Smith, also his father-in-law. He turned pro in 2016. As of April 2021, he has an MMA record of 8-3-0. He measures 5'10" tall and weighs 155 lbs. Bush was born on June 9, 1994, in Cuba, Missouri.
On January 26, 2013, Bush defeated Fahrudin Kostjerevac at Cage Championships MMA thereby starting his amateur career. He lost the next match against John Baxter on June 1, 2013. The 5 foot 10 inches fighter's next bout was against Laree Hutchinson on June 6, 2014. Bush won the fight by a unanimous decision.
