Cristiano Ronaldo to Make his Serie A Debut for Juventus guarded by ANTI-TERROR police Soccer

Cristiano Ronaldo will make his most awaited Serie A debut for Juventus this weekend playing against Chievo. He will be protected by anti-terror police as the game has "assumed global visibility".

Juventus will play against Chievo in their home ground at the Bentegodi Stadium in Verona. So, the massive security system will be deployed outside the stadium when the Portuguese star plays his Serie A debut match.

The security measure is being taken as an Islamic State terrorists threatened Ronaldo in a sick online propaganda stunt. They released an image where Ronaldo and Messi were bound to the ground by masked jihadis in a football stadium.

The photo was captioned as, "Your blood will fill the ground."

The security system was made tight for the former Real Madrid ace following the threat. He also hired the former MMA fighter Nuno Marecos as his bodyguard.

Ronaldo left Real Madrid after 9 years this July with the transfer reported to be €105 million. He mentioned his transfer to Turin as "very important step for his career". 

"Juventus are one of the best clubs in the world. Juventus have a great coach and a great president accustomed to winning. It was an easy decision to come here. That's why I'm very grateful to Juventus for this opportunity because I can go on with my career."

Ronaldo player 438 matches for Real Madrid scoring 450 goals in all competition. He was the key man behind Real's claim over four UCL titles in last five years and also helped the team to win two La Liga titles.
