Christian Alberto Cueva Bravo or simply known as Christian Cueva is a professional football player who primarily plays as an attacking midfielder for Peru National Team and the Brazilian professional football club, Sao Paulo FC.
Apart from playing for several Peruvian clubs, he has also played for Mexican football club, Toluca in 2015 and represented Peru in their youth team.
Since making his international debut for Peru in 2016, he played at 2015 Copa America and 2016 Copa America Centenario.
He was born to mother, Maqui Bravo, and father, Luis Alberto Cueva on 23 November 1991 in Trujillo, Peru.
The Peruvian midfielder started his playing career joining the Peruvian football club, Universidad San Martin in 2005.

After having represented Peru in U-20 levels, he made his full senior international debut for Peru in 2011.
He scored his first international goal for Peru against Brazil on 14 June 2015 during 2015 Copa America at Chile and was included in the team of the tournament at the competition, where Peru finished at third place in the tournament.
