Rumors wreaked havoc on the media when the baseball player and the Sports Illustrated model were spotted together in St. Thomas in January 2013. The rumors were prevalent before this event but they became even stronger after this event.
Those rumors were confirmed in October of the same year by Kate's parents but the Romance had fizzled out.
