Alejandra Lara's Mixed Martial Arts Career

At the age of eighteen, Lara made her professional MMA career debut on 10^th December 2011, at Extreme Combat MMA – Senshi Ki 1, where she faced Monica Leon. In 2 minutes and 22 second, she defeated her opponent via TKO.

The following year, she had only one fight and that was against Maria Aguero at PFC 1 – Professional Fight Club 1, on 29^th September. She won the fight b TKO in the round one.

In the year 2013, Lara had two fight against Paola Calderon and she won both of bout at SFC 9 – Striker Fighting Champions 9 and 12 via unanimous decision and technical submission respectively.

At SFC 18 – Striker Fighting Championship 18, Lara faced Sabina Mazo, on 26^th March 2015. She lost the match via unanimous decision.

Rebounding from loss, Lara went on to give two consecutive win against Janeth Alvarado and Lina Franco Rodriguez.

Bellator MMA

In 2017, it was announced that Lara has joined Bellator. On 9^th December 2017, she made her promotional debut at Bellator 190 – Carvalho vs. Sakara, where she set her victory, defeating Lena Ovchynnikova via submission due to a rear-naked choke in the round three.

Currently twenty-three, Lara is a quite confidential person when it comes to her personal life. She has shared less to no information, not even her relationship status.
