American Golfer Phil Mickelson's longtime Married Relationship with Wife Amy; Has Two Daughters and a Son

The love story of the couple goes back in the flashback when they were both Arizona State University attendants. As reported, Phil and Amy met back in 1992 when Amy McBride (initially) a junior at the college was also a member of the Phoenix Suns cheerleading squad.

Phil Mickelson, a fresh graduate at that time was famed as a prominent golfer and soon he approached Amy which led them to be good friends. Revealed through 2004 book One Magical Sunday, the couple's first date was to play tennis. 

The couple described their best memory which was Phils' joke on Amy. As per Mickelson's book, Phil wrote a note and wrapped it around his hotel room key and asked his then caddie, Bones Mackay, to hand it to Amy.

And Amy described the situation as:

I didn't understand why he handed it to me because Phil was standing on the edge of the green with a big grin on his face. When I opened the note, the hotel room key fell onto the ground. And the ladies who were standing around me just gasped. Well, I was so mad, I picked up the key and threw it at Phil as hard as I could.

The joke and feelings of attachment led the couple to take their relationship to another level. Yeah, Phil and Amy got married.

As reported, Phil and Amy got married on November 16, 1996, after 4 years of dating. Though, the couple has not talked about their engagement or the details of their wedding.
