Zach Makovsky is an American mixed martial artist who currently fights in the flyweight division of the UFC. Formerly, he competed at EliteXC, ShoXC, and Bellator. He is also the former Bellator Bantamweight Champion.

Zach Makovsky was born as Zachary Paul “Zach Makovsky on April 19, 1983, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, United States. He is American by nationality and belongs to a white ethnic background. In January 2008, Zach Makovsky joined Elite XC and made his professional debut at ShocXC: Elite Challenger Series. Wilson Reis who was two-time Bellator Featherweight Tournament participant defeated him. In May 2008, he faced Andre Soares at EliteXC: Primetime and won the fight via unanimous decision in the third round. In 2010, he debuted at Bellator Fighting Championship and later also competed at Cage Fury and Resurrection Fighting Alliance.
On Dec 4, 2013, Zach Makovsky assigned with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), he faced Scott Jorgensen at UFC on Fox 9. He won the fight via unanimous decision. For his second fight, he faced Josh Sampo at UFC 170 on Feb 22, 2014, and won the fight via unanimous decision. On Dec 10, 2016, at UFC 206, he expected to face John Moraga. However, due to the injury, John was replaced by Dustin Ortiz. He lost the fight via split decision. He has an MMA record of 19 wins in 27 matches.
