Senegal National Team Soccer

The Senegal national team represents the national football team of Senegal in international tournaments and is controlled by the Fédération Sénégalaise de Football. They are nicknamed as Lions of Teranga.

Senegal has represented in two editions of the FIFA World Cup and it's their third one in 2018. They first played the World Cup in 2002 and they rached the quarter-finals of the 2002 World Cup. Senegal currently ranks 23rd in the World FIFA ranking which is also their highest ever ranking. Their lowest ever ranking is 99th in june 2013.

Aliou Cissé is the head coach of the Senegal national football team and the captain of the team is Cheikhou Kouyaté and Kara Mbodji is the vice-captain Henri Camara is the highest capped player for Senegal and top scorer too with a total of 99 appearances and 29 goals.
