Ronaldo Finally Reveals the Reason behind Real Madrid Exit Soccer

Cristiano Ronaldo recently joined the Italian club Juventus in July 2018 ending his 9 years career with the Spanish side Real Madrid. Seria A Champions paid £88 million to bring the five times Ballon d'Or to Turin.

Rumors about his move heated up a few days after he received the standing ovation from Juventus fans for his stunning bicycle kick.

While different pundits and players talked about their personal belief on his move to Italy, the Portuguese star has recently ended his silence. He told that the reaction of Juve fans after his incredible goals was one of the reasons that inspired him to join the club.

“I felt surprised at the beginning. I am used to following Juve and I like the club, but since that moment I liked them even more. I won't say it was the key point in my decision, but every detail helps. Maybe. Of course, it helps when you see the people like you, the supporters and club like you, the feeling is completely different."

Ronaldo said in an interview with JuventusTV.

“Unbelievable. I remember every day, that never happened to me before. In the Champions League against Juve, a quarter-final, you score a goal and see everyone in the stadium applaud you. It was an unbelievable feeling. I don't have a precise moment when I decided [to join]. During the years, we played a few times against Juve and I had a special feeling that the Italian supporters like Cristiano."

The former Manchester United Ace added.

Ronaldo will make his Juventus debut today in a preseason match against Villar Perosa. He will play his Serie A match debut against Chievo next Saturday. His first home match will be on Saturday, August 25 against Roma.
