Cristiano Ronaldo scored an incredible overhead goal for his former club Real Madrid against his current club Juventus in Champions League quarter-finals last season. The goal was recently voted the UEFA.com Goal of the Season.
Ronaldo topped the list with nearly 200,000 votes out of total 346,915 while his close competitor Dimitri Payet received only 35,558 votes for his goal in a 5-2 defeat in UEFA Europa League against RB Leipzig.
Spanish u-17 forward Eva Navarro was placed third with 23,315 votes for her goal in UEFA European Women's Under-17 Championship final against Germany.
Ronaldo's new team took no time to congratulate for his achievement.

Some might take it as a classy touch but the rivals and their supporters mocked the Italian champions for congratulating Ronaldo for the goal scored against them.
After all, the goal knocked them out of the Champions League.
Juventus' bitter rival Roma were among the first to mock them. Roma responded to Juve's tweet with a GIF.
